Love the new look. Food very good. Service excellent.

Great breakfast options. Service was quick. Street pay parking. Nice location. You can take walk along the beach after.

Molly-O's was busy when we arrived and we expected a bit of a wait but we were seated at a table within 10 minutes and given the taste of our food I would have waited much longer. My sister and I had the French toast ànd split a side of fried potatoes and a side of bacon (a typical side of Molly's is four slices). The French toast was cooked to perfection and an ample serving. It's hard to impress me with French toast but Molly-Oh's takes the prize. The fried potatoes were cut into bite-sized pieces, seasoned well but most importantly they were crispy. Finally, the side of bacon was thick and beautifully crisp...a bacon lover's dream slice. That is one fry cook who knows her job well. Molly's also has a friendly and polite wait staff. My only wish - that Molly-O's was just a tad closer to Texas. So, if you should happen to find yourselves close to Molly-O's stop by for a bite to eat...I don't think you shall regret it.

Great breakfast, small-town prices. Wife was happy with her eggs benedict, and my biscuit and sausage gravy was fantastic.Could be the best breakfast place in York Beach.

We went to Molly O's this past Monday having never been there before. They were one of the only places serving food because of a power outage and it was amazing. The cook was funny, joked with everyone to keep the spirits up, and the food was beyond 5 stars. We usually come to York for vacation every year, and we'll be back next summer for our daily breakfast. Thank you for being open and for making us all laugh with stomachs full of delicious food.

So so so sad! What a loss! It was always our go to breakfast place for over twenty years on vacation. It is under different ownership and before everything was homemade and now it seems it’s all from Sysco. It is amazing what greed and politics can do .

Have been going to Molly-Os at York Beach for over 20 years. Loved the family who ran it. Used to be great food, great people - went this past week and saw they have new owners, new decor (family photos taken down). Food was lousy, portions small, overpriced. Usually hit there 2-3 times the week we vacation there - went once and will not go back again. Total disappointment. Went with a party of 6 and all 6 were totally disappointed.

We were there on Sunday September 15th the service was great the food was great and served fast. We will be going back the next time we are in York..

New owners are great. Went two days in a row because they were so nice to us.

Friendly waitresses and food was good. Especially the grilled banana bread. Would have gotten higher score, but the over medium eggs were more like under cooked over easy.

My family and I used to LOVE Molly's. First time this year we went back in July and noticed new people and a different menu. I inquired about the ownership, was told it had been sold but in the family. We were disappointed, especially with no waffles being served anymore. Didn't have the same friendly feel. In August on our traditional weekend visit we brought friends back to Mollyo's to try a second time. Disappointed again. Not sure why they only serve one slice of toast with breakfast, maybe to get people to order an , "order of one slice of toast" like I did. The toast was buttered with what tasted like oil. Not sure if we'll be going back again which is quite a disappointment because we always looked forward to our one breakfast place - MOLLYO'S.

Was always had our breakfast here every year. Waiting an hour plus for food. No coffee refill yet. No breakfast yet. It's not going to make it. They need to get old owners to train them.

Truly amazing nitro cold brew coffee at Moll-O's. I will drink it all day long at the beach.

Good breakfast. My eggs Benedict was nice and filling. My wife had an everything bagel sandwich with corned beef hash which was solid. For where you are the price isn't elevated that much which is nice. Waitress told us the restaurant was just sold from one cousin to another so new ownership and they are also trying lunch and dinner there as well. Don't know if I would go there for that but breakfast was okay! If your staying in York by the beach it was the best option we found for breakfast without getting in a car and driving somewhere away from the beach

NO MORE BREAKFAST AFTER 12...Used to be the only place at Short Sands for breakfast all day. Just went there a month ago and it still was. So at around 12:50pm ordered 3 orange juices and an apple juice for $3.50 each. After they were served, the waitress told us that they were no longer serving breakfast. I wonder why we would all be ordering juice for lunch??! Whoever was in charge behind the counter was very unpleasant and wouldn’t make us breakfast...even though there were home fries still sitting on the grill. Stupid move as there are plenty of better places to eat lunch and not so many breakfast joints after 12 PM. Last time I will go there!

Bacon was crisp. Staff friendly. Reason for 2 stars.Home fries look old and dried out. Potion small for the price.

While the diner next door proclaims to have the best breakfast in town that is not the case. Molly O’s has far superior food, service and ambiance. We dined there and has a wonderful breakfast. Got take out baked goods another day and was equally impressed.

Love their homemade muffins, especially the raspberry or pumpkin!! Good breakfast, sometimes there is a bit if a wait, it's small, but fast service! Only problem is we like to come off-season, and they're not open everyday in the off season.

Honestly place is overrated! Portions are small(i got 6 small pieces of potatoes flavorless)Toast is hard and cold,they make it and leave it on the side by time you get it is cold and hard.eggs were horrible.i think my 5 year old daughter can make better eggs,they were littered with junk from the grill.worst 12 dollar breakfast ive ever had.ps cup of coffee is 3 dollars and is bland as hail

Went to Molly O’s two days of my vacation and was not disappointed! The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the cooks behind the bar were funny and over the top friendly. We’ll be back next year!

I love breakfast! And I really love Molly-O's breakfasts! Try the blueberry pancakes, the French Toast, or just the eggs over easy. We haven't been disappointed yet!

Excellent food

The staff is amazing, so friendly and helpful! The coffee is amazing and never ending! The French toast is a great choice and with the fresh made bread it taste like home cooking!

Apparently this place is under new ownership...and you can tell. Nothing like it used to be. Food was OK, but nothing special to write home about.

worst service ever. We actually asked for our money back after waiting an hour for a bagel with egg and bacon and an uncooked muffin. So disorganized. I would give a zero review if I could.

Outstanding service, lovely staff and the food was delivered fast and tasty. Ooh, bring cash, no debit or credit cards accepted. If you forget to bring cash there is an ATM inside the establishment to get cash to pay for your order. Make sure you have funds and make sure the magnetic strip on the card works. Enjoy breakfast everybody, its wicked good!

Was looking for a place to have breakfast, googled this place, said it was open. Arrived at Mollyo's and it was closed. Looks like the place is out of business. Wont be back.

Been going to York Beach since mid 70’s can say today was the worst meal we ever had at Molly- 0’s. Use to tell friends and coworkers how good it was. Glad now we know how it has changed and will never refer it to anyone else. Toast was cold & hard potatoes were tasteless, sausages tasted like the turkey kind as did the bacon. Eggs over easy were over cooked. To top it off over priced.

One of the best breakfast places I’ve been

Went to Mollyo’s last month for the first time. Had read reviews and sounded like a great place. Boy was I wrong. Service was slow, my bf and I were the only 2 people in the place and it took forever to be waited on. Food was not good. My bf got sausage gravy and biscuits, literally one biscuit cut in half with a half a cup of gravy, that had some kind of green leaf in it, for like $9. No eggs no nothing else. He has been coming to York most of his life and said it was the worst breakfast he’d ever had. Mine wasn’t much better, small portions- one piece of toast? Too expensive!

The pancakes left me so full I couldn’t finish my bacon. The younger girl there was my server and she was a breath of fresh air, the atmosphere is calm and relaxing, the woman cooking with the younger guy was friendly and funny. An overall pleasant experience and yummy meal. You get your bang for your buck here.

A lovely little restaurant! One of my favorite breakfast sandwiches and the best grilled muffins. Really friendly staff, it feels like a family!!

They open early, which is great when you get up early specifically to watch the sunrise over the "Nubble" lighthouse (which, during the summer, is quite early). Mollyo's has a good choice of seating (bar or table) and a good, varied menu. If you want, you can watch as your order is being prepared behind the counter. The server was attentive, the food was good in portion size and taste, and the coffee was aromatic, yet mild, with free refills. If you are looking for a cozy, non-chain breakfast spot to kick off a great day, consider Mollyo's!
